California: Three upcoming anarchist events in Modesto!

In the next month in our humble Modesto, we have several upcoming events happening, with more on the way.

On Tuesday April 18th, at the Church of the Brethren located on Woodland Ave, from 6pm - 9pm, we will be participating in the "Journey for Justice", a caravan across the valley including grassroots homeless, labor, and community groups aimed at bringing attention to working class issues on immigration, health care, environmental justice, and much more. Direct Action Anti-Authoritarians (DAAA) Collective will be tabling, and showing films. We will also be speaking on the panel at the event, and will be giving an anarchist perspective towards community organizing, social change and revolution, and what our collective does. The event will conclude with a general assembly for the whole community to meet and talk with each other, and build networking opportunities.

On Saturday, May 22nd, we will be putting on the 3rd annual Earth First! Day. This event will include free food (not bombs), radical eco-street theater, free flim showings, a wide range of free/cheap literature, a really free market, patch/shirt making station, and more!

On Saturday, May 6th, in Ceres, from 6pm-10pm, there will be a anarcho-punk benefit show, featuring out of town and local acts. The cost is only $3, and all donations go towards the collective.
