HALLIBURTON Sharholder's meeting Protest May 17 is NOT in Houston

For the last three years Halliburton and its subsidiary Kellogg Brown and Root have been shamelessly profiting from the death and destruction in Iraq. Halliburton has overcharged the American tax payer millions of dollars for troop meals and other essential services to the occupation of Iraq, and is now receiving contracts for the devastated Gulf Coast region.

According to internal memos Halliburton knowingly served our troops contaminated water which could have resulted in wide spread sickness or death. An additional $75 million tax dollars were wasted on a pipeline that Halliburton was contracted to build but never delivered. From the environment to workers rights, Halliburton has exhibited a shameless track record of putting profits before people.

Now this war profiteer is trying to hide from the public eye by moving its May 17th Shareholder’s Meeting to Duncan, OK. Please join a diverse coalition of veterans, anti-war activists and social justice crusaders as we confront this corporation. Tell Halliburton “You can run, but you can’t hide!”

We will meet in front of the Simmons Center (800 Chisholm Trail Pkwy) in Duncan, OK at 7a.m. on May 17th 2006.

Houston Global Awareness has organized the last three years of protests against Halliburton, and as always the expenses are great. Any help you can give to assist in getting to Duncan would be appreciated. Email Katie Heim at keh1022 (at) yahoo.com, any amount counts.
